Rayat Bahra University celebrated academic excellence at its Achievers’ Summit 2026, organized to honour students who secured an outstanding CGPA of 9.0 and above. More than 300 meritorious students were felicitated for their exceptional academic performance during the grand event, which brought together distinguished dignitaries, academic leaders, faculty members, proud parents, and students.

The summit was graced by Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chancellor, Rayat Bahra University, Avinash Rai Khanna, Former Member of Parliament, and Prof. (Dr.) Satish Kumar, Pro Vice Chancellor, Rayat Bahra University. Addressing the gathering, Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra congratulated the achievers and emphasized that academic excellence is the result of consistency, discipline, and a commitment to lifelong learning. 

He encouraged students to continue pursuing excellence while upholding the values of integrity, innovation, and social responsibility. Speaking on the occasion, Avinash Rai Khanna, Former Member of Parliament, applauded the remarkable achievements of the students and acknowledged the invaluable contribution of parents and teachers in their success. 

He urged students to use their education as a powerful tool for positive social change and to contribute meaningfully to nation-building through ethical leadership and dedicated service. Prof. (Dr.) Satish Kumar, Pro Vice Chancellor, highlighted the University's focus on quality education, research, innovation, and holistic development, ensuring that students are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values required to excel in a rapidly evolving global environment.

Welcoming the guests, parents, faculty, and students, Prof. (Dr.) Simerjit Kaur, Dean Students’ Welfare, described the Achievers’ Summit as a celebration of determination, hard work, and the relentless pursuit of excellence. A special tribute was paid to the parents whose unwavering support, encouragement, and sacrifices have played a pivotal role in the success of their children.

The University expressed its gratitude for the trust placed in Rayat Bahra University and reiterated its commitment to shaping future-ready graduates. The event concluded with the felicitation of the meritorious students and a renewed pledge to foster academic distinction, leadership, and excellence.
