Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign, a tree plantation drive was organized in Kharar today as part of the Van Mahotsav celebrations. The event was led by BJP Punjab Treasurer Sukhwinder Singh Goldy, Mandal President Rakesh Gupta, District General Secretary Jagdip Singh Aujla, Mahila Morcha President Ashu Puri, along with other office bearers of the Bharatiya Janata Party Mandal.

On the occasion, Sukhwinder Singh Goldy said that trees are the foundation of life and every individual should plant at least one tree to help keep the environment clean, green, and healthy. He stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s message of “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” is not limited to planting trees alone, but is also an inspiring initiative to reconnect people with nature and their roots.He appealed to all citizens to plant more trees and take proper care of them to protect the environment, ensuring that future generations inherit a clean and healthy ecosystem.
