Under the guidance of Dr. Lalit Jain, Director, Directorate of Census Operations, Haryana, a Self-Enumeration workshop was organized today, April 17, 2026, for state officials at the Chief Secretariat and New Secretariat. The workshop was chaired by Mrs. Hema Sharma, Special Secretary, Revenue, Haryana. During the session, officials from the Census Directorate briefed participants on the Self-Enumeration process under Census 2027 and explained the steps to submit census details online through the official portal *se.census.gov.in*.

As part of the workshop, state officials actively participated and completed their own Self-Enumeration on the spot. The exercise aimed to familiarize departments with the digital process and ensure smooth facilitation of the first phase of Census 2027, which is underway in Haryana from April 16 to April 30, 2026.

Officials were also apprised of data security measures, with all information stored on protected servers of the Ministry of Home Affairs and used strictly for statistical purposes.
