Human life is a confluence of relationships, situations, and emotions. Every day we meet many people and face different circumstances. Often, by observing someone’s behavior, we hastily conclude that the other person is wrong or has acted intentionally, whereas in reality, that person may be going through a difficult situation, compulsion, or personal problem.

If we adopt the “benefit of doubt” and take time to understand others, we can prevent unnecessary negative feelings from arising in our minds. These thoughts were expressed today by local preacher Dr. Amritpal Kaur while addressing thousands of devotees present at the Women’s Congregation आयोजित at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Sector 30.

Referring to the discussion on “Benefit of Doubt” in the discourses of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj, Dr. Kaur said that this perspective is not only important for social life but is equally significant in family life. Small differences within the family often escalate because we react immediately without fully understanding each other’s viewpoint.

If we remain patient and think positively, many disputes can resolve on their own. This strengthens trust, love, and mutual respect in relationships. She further said that such thinking is also essential for walking the spiritual path, as it teaches us to control our ego and impulsiveness and inspires us to view every situation with wisdom and compassion.

This approach makes a person humble and develops empathy toward others. When we give others the benefit of doubt, we actually grant peace to our own mind and make life simpler. This becomes possible when we seek refuge in the Satguru of the time, attain Brahmgyan (Divine Knowledge), and incorporate it into our lives.

Earlier, several speakers shared their experiences on how the Brahmgyan bestowed by Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj has made their life journey blissful. Shri Pawan Kumar Ji, Mukhi of the Sector 40 area, welcomed and thanked Dr. Amritpal Kaur Ji, the Zonal Incharge, the Sanyojak, and all the devotees present.
