Under the guidance of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj and Nirankari Rajpita Ramit Ji, the 26th Baba Gurbachan Singh Memorial Cricket Tournament commenced today with great reverence, discipline, and a spirit of harmony at the holy grounds of Sant Nirankari Spiritual Complex, Samalkha (Haryana). Manifesting a divine blend of spiritual awareness, human values, and sportsmanship, this grand inauguration reflects not merely a sporting competition but also a message of humanity, unity, and collective progress.

This prestigious tournament, being held from 26 February to 10 March 2026, features the participation of 24 selected teams from various states across the country. Young players from Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Jammu, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Maharashtra, Odisha, Kolkata, Gujarat, Delhi, and Delhi NCR are showcasing discipline, self-restraint, and brotherhood through the medium of sports.

Their dedication on the field, dignified conduct, and spirit of service elevate this event beyond competition, transforming it into a celebration of inspiration. The tournament is being efficiently organized under the able leadership of the Secretary of Sant Nirankari Mandal, Respected Shri Joginder Sukhija. Sharing details about the event, he mentioned that tremendous enthusiasm has been witnessed among the youth, with a remarkable number of registrations received.

This initiative not only nurtures sporting talent but also strengthens self-discipline, unity, and spiritual consciousness. The foundation of this tournament was laid by Baba Hardev Singh Ji in sacred memory of Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji. Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji firmly believed that through sports, youth can be guided toward the path of discipline, self-control, and service.

The gracious presence of the Head of Sant Nirankari Mandal, Respected Smt. Rajkumari Ji, and the Vice President of the Central Planning and Advisory Board, Shri Narendra Singh Ji, added distinction to the grand occasion. Other office bearers of the Mandal also enhanced the dignity of the event with their presence.

Blessing the players on this occasion, Smt. Rajkumari Ji shared that the 26th tournament began in Ludhiana in the year 2000 and has continued with the same purpose even after 2021. According to Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji, “Only when the body is healthy can one truly engage in devotion,” as the human body is the medium to realize the Divine.

Sports teach us to maintain balance of mind regardless of circumstances and to rise above victory and defeat while preserving love, humility, and brotherhood. With a healthy body, we can contribute to service and experience joy in devotion. Sports cultivate endurance, dignity, and discipline.

With the spirit of “Neither to tire, nor to be arrogant, nor to bow down,” prayers were offered to Nirankar for everyone’s good health, progressive sportsmanship, and a life filled with love and happiness. Extensive arrangements have been made to ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the tournament.

Accommodation, medical services, refreshments, emergency assistance, security, and parking facilities have been carefully organized for the convenience of participants and spectators, making the event seamless, memorable, and well-managed. This event is not merely a sports competition but a unique opportunity for spiritual awakening and the enrichment of life values among the youth.

Evening satsang programs held daily will inspire them toward mental peace, positive energy, and elevated consciousness, enabling them to imbibe not only the spirit of sports but also the true purpose of life. Undoubtedly, organized under the divine guidance of the Satguru, the Baba Gurbachan Singh Memorial Cricket Tournament strengthens the ideals of human unity alongside sportsmanship and provides a new direction to society.
