RHPCL aids Govt Schools in Rattle Power project affected area with computers

In a significant push to ICT enabled educational facilities in the district, Deputy Commissioner Pankaj Kumar Sharma today handed over 91 all-in-one personal computers to project-affected educational institutions in Kishtwar district. The funds for the PCs were provided by the Rattle Hydroelectric Power Corporation Limited (RHPCL) under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. 

The high-end computers, costing ₹51.87 lakh, were handed over by the DC to HOIs (Head of Institutions) of the schools affected identified in the project region. The PCs are aimed at strengthening ICT-enabled learning, improving digital accessibility for students, and uplifting the overall academic environment in government educational institutions. 

The Deputy Commissioner reiterated the commitment of the District Administration to improve quality of education and ensure modern learning tools reach every corner of Kishtwar. CEO Kishtwar, Sanjay Dogra, Dy. CEO Kishtwar, Masood Ahmed Qazi, ZEO Kishtwar, Ashok Kumar, ZEO Nagseni, Riyaz-Ul-Haq and other concerned officers were present.
