Under the clear directions of Shiromani Akali Dal President S. Sukhbir Singh Badal Ji, the Youth Akali Dal has written a new chapter of public service by initiating the distribution of wheat seeds covering 200 acres for flood-affected farmers in village Chamaru, Ghanaur constituency.

The initiative was led by former MLA S. Harpreet Kaur Makhamelpur and MGPC member S. Jasmer Singh Lachhru. On this occasion, Youth Wing Shiromani Akali Dal President S. Sarabjeet Singh Jhinjer was present. He said that S. Sukhbir Singh Badal Ji has always considered serving the people of Punjab as his foremost duty.

Be it the plight of flood victims, the struggles of farmers, or any public welfare issue S. Sukhbir Singh Badal Ji has always been at the forefront. S. Jhinjer recalled that during the floods, Sukhbir Singh Badal Ji personally visited the affected areas and stood with every family, providing diesel, ration, fodder for animals, and other essential supplies.

He described S. Sukhbir Singh Badal Ji as the true son of Punjab who shares the pain and struggles of every Punjabi. He further said that, under S. Badal Ji’s directions, the dedicated members of the Youth Akali Dal visited various villages, collected resources and wheat seeds, and launched this campaign today from village Chamaru where seeds have been distributed for over 200 acres.

Soon, the campaign will extend to other villages across the Ghanaur constituency to reach more needy farmers. On this occasion, S. Jasmer Singh Lachhru and S. Harpreet Kaur Makhamelpur stated that this is a highly commendable initiative by the youth collecting seeds from their own resources and delivering them to flood-affected farmers.

They said that, under the guidance of S. Sukhbir Singh Badal Ji, the Akali Dal team is united in its mission of public service. They also mentioned that S. Badal Ji has always inspired the youth not only as political workers but as future leaders of Punjab.

Motivated by his vision, every member of the Youth Akali Dal today stands connected with the pain of every village, every farmer, and every labourer. They further added that under S. Sukhbir Singh Badal Ji’s leadership, the Shiromani Akali Dal has consistently worked as the voice of farmers, labourers, and the weaker sections of society.

Today’s initiative is yet another testament that the Akali Dal is not merely a political organization, but a true reflection of the sentiments of the people of Punjab. In his concluding remarks, S. Jhinjer said, “The hardworking farmers of Punjab are the backbone of India’s economy.

Under the leadership of S. Sukhbir Singh Badal Ji, the Shiromani Akali Dal will continue to champion the cause of farmers and remains committed to providing every possible assistance for their welfare.”
