The Central Government Employees Residents' Welfare Association (CGERWA), Sector-7, Chandigarh, in collaboration with the Regional Office of Health & Family Welfare, Chandigarh, and City Hospital, Sector-8, Chandigarh, successfully organized a free medical camp on 27th September under the theme “Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar”.

The camp was inaugurated by Ward Councillor Shri Mahesh Inder Singh Sidhu, who formally lit the ceremonial lamp. During the camp, specialists in gynecology, orthopedics, general medicine, and cardiology provided medical consultation to the participants. In addition, primary laboratory tests, including ECG, were offered to the attendees.

The initiative received highly positive feedback from the local residents and was widely appreciated for bringing quality healthcare services closer to the community. A total of 85 participants benefited from the free medical consultations and health check-up facilities.
