Haryana Chief Minister, Sh Nayab Singh Saini said that in this hour of natural disaster, the state government stands firmly with the people of the state. Wherever crops or other damages have occurred due to heavy rains, compensation will be provided.
For this purpose, e-Kshatipurti portal has been opened at the village level in the affected areas, through which farmers are uploading details of crop losses caused by the heavy rains. He assured that the interests of farmers, poor laborers, and affected people of the state are fully protected and added that he is personally monitoring the situation arising from waterlogging.
Chief Minister made these remarks on Sunday while meeting villagers of various villages on his way from Narwana to Tohana.During the visit, the Chief Minister stopped at Baba Jamin Nath Gaushala in village Dharodi and interacted with villagers regarding the present situation caused by the heavy rains.
He assured the villagers, especially the farmers, that all possible assistance would be provided. He further informed that special instructions have been issued to all Deputy Commissioners, as well as officers of the Revenue and Irrigation Departments, to keep a close watch on waterlogging during the rainy season and to immediately take steps for drainage wherever required, so that farmers and other residents do not face inconvenience.
Later, the Chief Minister also met villagers in Lon, Dhamtan Sahib and Kalwan. The residents of all these villages expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister and appreciated the relief measures undertaken by the government and the administration during the rainy season.
