Chairman, Haryana Staff Selection Commission, Sh. Himmat Singh, today visited various CET exam centres in the districts of Nuh, Faridabad, Sonipat, and Rohtak to review arrangements. During his visits, he checked the security and administrative preparedness and also interacted with candidates appearing for the exam. He said that the candidates appeared satisfied with the overall arrangements.

He informed that the CET exam was conducted today, July 26, in two shifts. To ensure a fair and smooth conduct of the exam, administrative and technical arrangements were made at every level.In the first shift, 3,37,790 candidates appeared across 1,338 centres, while the second shift had 3,37,261 candidates at 1,336 centres. 

In total, arrangements were made for 6,75,051 candidates across both shifts. On an average, 90 percent of the candidates were present in both the shifts.Sh. Himmat Singh said that such a large turnout is rarely seen, and the level of enthusiasm among candidates was commendable. He said this reflects the increasing confidence of the youth in the Haryana Staff Selection Commission.

He further informed that the CET examination will be conducted in two shifts on July 27. In the first shift, 3,37,022 candidates are expected to appear at 1,335 centres, while in the second shift, 3,36,624 candidates will take the exam at 1,333 centres.

Sh. Himmat Singh appreciated the contribution of all those involved in the successful conduct of the exam—including social and religious organizations, bar associations, the Haryana Transport Department, district administration, teachers, supervisors, and all other staff. 

He said the entire process was handled with a spirit of teamwork, which ensured smooth and peaceful conduct of the examination. He said that the CET exam could be held successfully and in an organised manner only because of the dedication and cooperation of everyone involved.
