Deputy Commissioner Poonch Vikas Kundal today conducted a comprehensive visit to the Shri Budha Amarnath Ji Mandir in Mandi to review the preparations for the upcoming yatra. During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by ADC, Tahir Mustaf Malik, Tehsildar Mandi, Ashfaq, Yatra Officer and other line department officers. 

He met with the Yatra Management Committee to discuss essential arrangements aimed at ensuring the success of the pilgrimage. The inspection by the Deputy Commissioner focused on several key aspects of the yatra, including Lodging arrangement, ration supply, drinking water, electricity and security arrangements. 

He further assessed the infrastructure on the Poonch-Mandi road, emphasizing the importance of maintaining proper sanitation, lighting, and medical facilities throughout the pilgrimage route. The Deputy Commissioner also inspected the Langer site, toilet complex, and bath ghat to ensure the comfort and safety of the yatris.

Later, the Deputy Commissioner visited Dashnami Akhara in Poonch to assess the arrangements for the yatris, including accommodation, toilets, Langer, sanitation, and security. He expressed satisfaction with the overall facilities and commended the committee members for their efficient management, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for the pilgrims.
