The District Administration Doda, under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh, observed a two-minute silence today in solemn remembrance of the victims of the heinous massacre that took place in Pahalgam, Kashmir.

The tribute was held at the Mini Conference Hall, DC Office Complex, Doda, where Additional Deputy Commissioner, Anil Kumar Thakur; Assistant Commissioner, Revenue, Ashraf Pervez; Chief Planning Officer, Manesh Kumar Manhas; and other district officers and employees participated with heartfelt reverence.

The gathering stood in silence to pay homage to the innocent lives lost in the brutal act of violence. The Deputy Commissioner Doda emphasized the importance of standing united against such inhumane acts that aim to disrupt societal peace and fabric.

Meanwhile, similar observances were held simultaneously across all government offices in the district. From tehsil offices to block headquarters, officials and staff paused their routine work to participate in this solemn tribute.

The coordinated effort across the district displayed a unified message of condolence and resilience. The observance served as a reminder of the value of human life and the need to uphold peace and unity.
