The festival of Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated with great enthusiasm and religious fervor across District Doda, as a large gathering of the Muslim community offered Eid prayers at Eidgah Doda this morning.
The congregational prayers were led by the Imam of Jamia Masjid Doda and were attended by the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda, Harvinder Singh, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sandeep Kumar Mehta, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Sudarshan Kumar, along with other civil and police officers.
To ensure the smooth and peaceful conduct of the festival, the District Administration Doda had made elaborate security and other necessary arrangements. DC and SSP conveyed their heartfelt Eid greetings, emphasizing the values of brotherhood, peace and unity.
Similarly, prayers and celebrations were observed at various other locations across the district, where devotees gathered to offer prayers and exchange greetings.
