Haryana State Election Commissioner, Sh. Dhanpat Singh said  that after scrutiny of nomination papers for the Panipat Municipal Corporation elections, six candidates have been found eligible for the Mayor post, while nomination papers of 121 candidates were found valid for the 26 ward member posts.

Sh. Dhanpat Singh said that the date of withdrawal for nomination papers is March 1 (11 AM to 3 PM).  After 3 PM, the final candidates will be allotted election symbols on the same day. Additionally, the list of contesting candidates and polling stations will be displayed at designated locations.

Polling will take place on Sunday, March 9, from 8 AM to 6 PM. After the completion of the election process, vote counting will begin at 8 AM on March 12, and results will be declared on the same day.
