Vice President of Haryana State Council for Child Welfare and wife of Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, Smt. Suman Saini, today participated in a program organized at Guru Ravidas Temple in Mirzapur Kath village of Naraiangarh on the birth anniversary of Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas ji and paid tributes to him. 

On this occasion, the temple committee and villagers welcomed Smt. Suman Saini and felicitated her by giving her a ‘siropa’ and a memento.Smt. Suman Saini said today, on the occasion of Guru Ravidas ji's birth anniversary, we remember his life and teachings. Guru Ravidas ji was a great saint, philosopher, poet and social reformer. 

He has composed many spiritual texts in his lifetime. He gave the message of love, devotion and service to humanity. His couplets and poems are famous even today. He laid more emphasis on education and knowledge.She said Guru Ravidas ji spread the message of equality and unity in society. 

We should apply his teachings in our lives and keep working for service to humanity. The message of love, unity and devotion given by him inspires people even today. His couplets are still relevant and show the right direction to humanity. Internal purity is more important than external appearance.

Smt. Suman Saini said under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, the government is working for the welfare and upliftment of every section by following the path shown by saints and great men like Guru Ravidas ji, and special attention is being paid to ensure that the last person standing in the queue gets the benefit of the schemes. 

She said the Haryana Government is working under the able leadership of Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini to make the people, especially the young generation, aware of the teachings of saints and great men. Sant Mahapurush Vichar Samman and Prasar Yojana is being run by the Haryana Government, whose objective is to inspire the society, especially the youth, with the teachings of saints and great men, she added.
