Gokul Butail Principal Advisor (Digital Technology, Innovation and Governance) to the Chief Minister today said that the present State Government was committed towards strengthening infrastructure and enhancing online services in the state. He was addressing a programme organised by various Himachali Sabhas at Holy Basil Multi-Specialty Hospital in Kharar in Punjab.

On the occasion Gokul Butail highlighted the priorities of the government and said that the unique challenges faced by Himachal Pradesh as a hilly state necessitate tailored solutions and the state government was making efforts to improve key sectors such as health, education and roads etc.. Apart from this the government was also ensuring the reach of modern technology in all the villages of state.

Sh. Butail said that the government was establishing one model health centre in each assembly constituency, with Rs. One crore allocated for modern machines and equipment in each health institution. Apart from this, Hospital Management Information Services were being introduced in 53 health institutions to maintain digital patient records and improve service delivery.

He further said that the medical colleges in the state were being equipped with advanced facilities, including robotic surgery, to enhance healthcare. The government was also expanding online services which enabled people to access various certificates and learner driving licences conveniently.

He acknowledged the contribution of Himachali youth working in Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula and also praised Himachali Sabhas for their community welfare efforts which include organising a free mega health check-up camp. He also encouraged these organisations to arrange job fairs to help youths secure employment matching their qualifications.

Representatives of various Himachali organisations and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
