Haryana Chief Minister, Nayab Singh Saini  and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath on Monday participated in the Sant Sammelan organised on the occasion of Aathman, Battish Dhuni and Shankhadhal Bhandara by Dera Sidh Baba Garib Nath Math Saraswati Tirth at Pehowa, district Kurukshetra.

Addressing the gathering,  Sh. Nayab Singh Saini  said that the state government is committed to preserving the rich culture and traditions of Haryana for the past ten years. He expressed pride in the state’s cultural heritage. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, a grand temple of Lord Shri Ram has been constructed in Ayodhya, fulfilling the dreams of our ancestors.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister also expressed gratitude to the people of Haryana for re-electing the Bharatiya Janata Party government under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi by voting for BJP in the recently concluded general elections.He said that Haryana celebrates the birth and death anniversaries of saints and revered personalities at the state level under the Sant-Mahapurush Vichar Samman and Prasar Yojana.

The Chief Minister said that under the Mukhyamantri Tirth Darshan Yojana, senior citizens are given the facility of free travel to religious sites. The sacred land of Lord Krishna, where the teachings of the Gita were imparted, is being developed, with all religious sites within the 48 kos being restored. He emphasized that the state government has been preserving culture consistently for the past ten years. People worldwide admire Indian culture and values, and India has been a ‘Sanatan Nation’.

Welcoming Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on behalf of the people of Haryana, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini acknowledged  Yogi Adityanath’s efforts to end  ‘jungle raj' in Uttar Pradesh, making the state safer, especially for women.Meanwhile, the Chief Minister also extended wishes to the people of state for the upcoming festivals, Diwali and Bhai Dooj. 

Double-Engine Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has further accelerated the development in Haryana, CM Yogi Adityanath

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath emphasised on the need to preserve our culture and heritage and work together to make India a developed nation by 2047. He praised the double-engine government under Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini’s leadership in Haryana for further accelerating the state’s development graph. 

He congratulated the people for forming the BJP government for the third time in Haryana and re-electing Sh. Nayab Singh Saini as Chief Minister.Highlighting the positive impact of electing good leaders, which Haryana exemplified by re-electing Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, Yogi Adityanath said that working selflessly, the BJP government at the centre and in states is working equally for all  the welfare of every section of the society.

He said that Sanatan Dharma is their greatest faith, enriched by the blessings of saints, and that the upcoming Mahakumbh in Prayagraj from January 13 to February 26 will be a significant spiritual gathering. Earlier, Mahant Pir Yogi Shernath Ji of Dera Sidh Baba Garib Nath Math welcomed the guests and honoured them with shawls. 

The Bhandara was also organised, after which the guests offered prayers at the Siddh Baba Gareeb Nath Math. Former Minister of State, Sh. Subhash Sudha, Rajasthan MLA, Mahant Balak Nath Ji Maharaj, former UP Minister, Sh. Suresh Rana, former MP, Smt. Sunita Duggal, Deputy Commissioner, Sh.  Rajesh Jogpal, saints and dignitaries also remained present on this occasion.
