The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Shakeel ul Rehman today convened a meeting to finalize the arrangements for the conduct of the Maha Dynashwar (Chota Amarnath) Yatra 2024. The meeting was aimed to ensure comprehensive preparations and smooth coordination for the upcoming Yatra, which holds significant religious importance.

On the occasion, threadbare discussion was held to address all logistical, security, medical, and other aspects related to the event. President SMT Kaloosa, Manohar Krishnan Koul, presented various issues related to Chota  Amarnaath Yatra to the chair.

The DC emphasized the importance of seamless coordination and thorough preparation to ensure the safety and convenience of the pilgrims participating in the Yatra. He highlighted that thorough preparation is crucial for the safety, convenience, and satisfaction of the pilgrims. 

He also urged all departments to work in unison and address any potential challenges proactively. He stressed upon the officers to ensure that the Maha Dynashwar (Chota Amarnath) Yatra 2024 is conducted smoothly, with the highest standards of safety and convenience for all participants.

Among others the meeting was attended by ADDC Mohammad Ashraf Bhatt, DDC Arin Ghulam Mohiudin, ADC Umar Shafi Pandit, Commanding Officers of CRPF and BSF, ACR Shabir Ahmad Wani, District Officers of various departments and other concerned.
