The high-level leadership of Shiromani Akali Dal addressed election meetings today in support of Harsimrat Kaur Badal, former Union Minister, in various villages of the Bathinda Lok Sabha constituency. The meeting was spearheaded by party Secretary-General and former Rajya Sabha member Balwinder Singh Bhunder, Karnail Singh Peer Mohammad general secretary of the party.
During the gathering, the leaders emphasized the rich history and values of the Shiromani Akali Dal. They criticized traditional parties controlled from Delhi for disturbing peace and harmony in the state. The leaders highlighted the various welfare schemes initiated by the Akali Dal, Viz., free scholarships, electricity units, atta-dal scheme, and shagan scheme for daughters, which have garnered public support.
Strong criticisms were directed at Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, labeling him as the first clean-shaven Chief Minister in Punjab's history who lacks basic cultural knowledge, questioning his ability to address crucial issues such as eradicating drugs, creating employment opportunities for youth, providing infrastructure, and promoting overall welfare of the state. They appealed to avoid repeating the mistakes of 2022 for the betterment of Punjab.
A vision was presented wherein the Shiromani Akali Dal, upon securing a parliamentary majority, pledged to formulate policies to boost farmers' income through agriculture exports, particularly to GCC and other countries. They proposed utilizing the cargo facility at Bathinda Airport to enhance export capabilities, generating income for farmers, strengthening the state's economy, and creating job opportunities for the populace.
Youth Wing President Sarabjit Singh Jhinjar highlighted the party's achievements and assured the youth of respect and opportunities within the party. Emphasizing the importance of supporting the regional party, he warned against neglecting it, underscoring the potential consequences compared to previous assembly elections.
Rajinder Singh and Gurdeep Singh, youth Akali Dal members, along with Joginder Singh Janggi, a federation leader, were joined by Jathedar Surjit Singh, a member of the Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee, in gracing the occasion.

ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੀ ਉੱਚ ਪੱਧਰੀ ਲੀਡਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਬਠਿੰਡਾ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਹਲਕੇ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬੀਬਾ ਹਰਸਿਮਰਤ ਕੌਰ ਬਾਦਲ ਦੇ ਹੱਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੋਣ ਮੀਟਿੰਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਜਨਰਲ ਸ੍ਰ. ਬਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੂੰਦੜ ਅਤੇ ਜਨਰਲ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਭਾਈ ਕਰਨੈਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੀਰਮੁਹੰਮਦ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਇਸ ਇਕੱਤਰਤਾ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਉਪਰੋਕਤ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਵੱਡਮੁੱਲੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਕਦਰਾਂ-ਕੀਮਤਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਦਭਾਵਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਭੰਗ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਤੋਂ ਨਿਯੰਤਰਿਤ ਰਵਾਇਤੀ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਆਲੋਚਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਭਲਾਈ ਸਕੀਮਾਂ, ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਵਜ਼ੀਫ਼ੇ, ਬਿਜਲੀ ਯੂਨਿਟ, ਆਟਾ-ਦਾਲ ਸਕੀਮ, ਧੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਗਨ ਸਕੀਮ ਬਾਰੇ ਚਾਨਣਾ ਪਾਇਆ, ਜਿੰਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਜ ਲੋਕ ਮੁੜ ਲਾਹਾ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਬੇਸਬਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਉਡੀਕ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੀ ਤਿੱਖੀ ਆਲੋਚਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਕਲੀਨ ਸ਼ੇਵ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਕਰਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਕੋਲ ਬੁਨਿਆਦੀ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਗਿਆਨ ਦੀ ਘਾਟ ਹੈ, ਇਥੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਖ਼ੁਦ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ 'ਤੇ ਰੱਖੀ ਪੱਗ ਦੀ ਅਹਿਮੀਅਤ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ। ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਾਤਮੇ, ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਰੁਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ, ਬੁਨਿਆਦੀ ਢਾਂਚਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੀ ਸਮੁੱਚੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਰਗੇ ਅਹਿਮ ਮੁੱਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਲ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ, ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਯੋਗਤਾ 'ਤੇ ਡੂੰਘੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੀ ਬਿਹਤਰੀ ਲਈ 2022 ਦੀਆਂ ਗਲਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ - ਦੁਹਰਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਣ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਚੇਤ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਪਰੋਕਤ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰਸਤਾਵ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਸਦੀ ਬਹੁਮਤ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਨ ਉਪਰੰਤ, ਖ਼ੇਤੀਬਾੜੀ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਯਾਤ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ, ਖ਼ਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਰਬ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ਸਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਕਰੀ ਜ਼ਰੀਏ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਮਦਨ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਨੀਤੀਆਂ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਠਿੰਡਾ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ 'ਤੇ ਕਾਰਗੋ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਨਿਰਯਾਤ ਸਮਰੱਥਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਣ, ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਆਮਦਨ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ, ਸੂਬੇ ਦੀ ਆਰਥਿਕਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਰੁਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਪ੍ਰਸਤਾਵ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਯੂਥ ਵਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸਰਬਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਝਿੰਜਰ ਨੇ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਚਾਨਣਾ ਪਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਅੰਦਰ ਬਣਦੇ ਮਾਨ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਦਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਖ਼ੇਤਰੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ 'ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਿਛਲੀਆਂ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇਨਜ਼ਰ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਸੰਭਾਵੀ ਨਤੀਜਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਅਹਮਿਯਤ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਇਆ, ਅਤੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਚੇਤ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ।
