A Range level Inter State Co-ordination meeting held today, at the Conference Hall, office of the Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar by Mrs Nilambari Jagadale, IPS, DIG, Ropar Range, Ropar. In this meeting, Smt Ravjot Grewal, IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police, Fatehgarh Sahib, Gulneet Singh Khurana, IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police, Rupnagar, Tushar Gupta, IPS, Superintendent of Police (Hq), SAS Nagar, Manpreet Singh, PPS, Superintendent of Police (Rural), SAS Nagar and SSPs of adjoining States, i.e. Una, Bilaspur & Baddi of Himachal Pardesh, and representatives from Ambala & Panchkula of Haryana & Chandigarh attended this meeting.
Commandant CAPF, Airport, SAS Nagar was also present in the meeting. Apart from that, the Inspector General of Police, Ambala and CP, Panchkula and Deputy Inspector General of Police, Mandi joined meeting virtually. In this meeting, Inter-State Joint Nakas, Law & Order issues, Range/District level security coordination, Latest Intelligence inputs in connection with Gangsters, Drugs/Liquor & Weapon suppliers, sealing of Inter-State Borders by installation of strong nakas to stop the exchange of cash and alcohol/drug during elections and other issue relating to Lok Sabha Election-2024 have been discussed in detail.
In order to improve cooperation between each other WhatsApp groups has been created and information about POs, absconders, parole jumpers and trouble makers be shared with state counterparts. Escape routes are also being identified which are often used for illegal activities like drug/liquor smuggling etc. at inter-state borders.

ਅੱਜ ਮਿਤੀ 01.04.2024 ਨੂੰ ਦੁਪਿਹਰ 03:00 ਵਜੇ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਹਾਲ, ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਪੁਲਿਸ, ਐਸ.ਏ.ਐਸ ਨਗਰ ਦੇ ਦਫਤਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਇੱਕ ਰੇਂਜ ਪੱਧਰੀ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਜੀ ਤਾਲਮੇਲ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਨਿਲਾਂਬਰੀ ਜਗਦਲੇ, ਆਈ.ਪੀ.ਐਸ, ਡੀ.ਆਈ.ਜੀ, ਰੋਪੜ ਰੇਂਜ, ਰੋਪੜ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਹੋਈ। ਇਸ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਰਵਜੋਤ ਗਰੇਵਾਲ, ਆਈ.ਪੀ.ਐਸ, ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਪੁਲਿਸ, ਫਤਿਹਗੜ੍ਹ ਸਾਹਿਬ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਲਨੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਖੁਰਾਣਾ, ਆਈ.ਪੀ.ਐਸ, ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਪੁਲਿਸ, ਰੂਪਨਗਰ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਤੁਸ਼ਾਰ ਗੁਪਤਾ, ਆਈ.ਪੀ.ਐਸ, ਕਪਤਾਨ ਪੁਲਿਸ, ਸਥਾਨਕ, ਐਸ.ਏ.ਐਸ ਨਗਰ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਪੀ.ਪੀ.ਐਸ, ਕਪਤਾਨ ਪੁਲਿਸ, ਦਿਹਾਤੀ, ਐਸ.ਏ.ਐਸ ਨਗਰ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਆਢੀ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਹਿਮਾਚਲ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਜਿਲਾ ਊਨਾ, ਬਿਲਾਸਪੁਰ ਅਤੇ ਬੱਦੀ ਦੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਤੇ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ (ਯੂ.ਟੀ) ਦੇ ਨੁਮਾਇੰਦਿਆ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ।ਇਸ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਮਾਂਡੈਂਟ ਸੀ.ਏ.ਪੀ.ਐਫ, ਏਅਰਪੋਰਟ, ਐਸ.ਏ.ਐਸ ਨਗਰ ਵੀ ਹਾਜਰ ਸਨ।
ਉਪਰੋਕਤ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਇੰਸਪੈਕਟਰ ਜਨਰਲ ਪੁਲਿਸ, ਅੰਬਾਲਾ-ਕਮ-ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਪੁਲਿਸ, ਪੰਚਕੂਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਇੰਸਪੈਕਟਰ ਜਨਰਲ ਪੁਲਿਸ, ਮੰਡੀ ਵੀ ਵੀਡਿਓ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਏ। ਇਸ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੰਤਰ-ਰਾਜੀ ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਨਾਕਿਆਂ, ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਦੇ, ਰੇਂਜ/ਜਿਲਾ ਪੱਧਰੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਤਾਲਮੇਲ, ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰਾਂ, ਨਸ਼ੀਲੇ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ/ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਪਲਾਇਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਬੰਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਾਜ਼ਾ ਖੁਫੀਆ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ, ਸ਼ਰਾਬ/ਡਰੱਗ ਅਤੇ ਕੈਸ਼ ਦੀ ਅਦਲਾ-ਬਦਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਇੰਟਰ-ਸਟੇਟ ਸਰਹੱਦਾਂ ਤੇ ਸਖਤ ਨਾਕੇ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣ-2024 ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਹੋਰ ਮੁੱਦਿਆ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿਸਥਾਰਪੂਰਵਕ ਚਰਚਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।
ਆਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਵੱਟਸਐਪ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਪੀ.ਓਜ਼, ਭਗੌੜੇ, ਪੈਰੋਲ ਜੰਪਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਰਾਰਤੀ ਅਨਸਰਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਹਮਰੁਤਬਾ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇੰਟਰ ਸਟੇਟ ਬਾਰਡਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਨਸ਼ੀਲੇ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ/ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਦੀ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਆਦਿ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਗੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆ ਲਈ ਵਰਤੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸੋਖੇ ਰਸਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸਖਤ ਨਾਕਾਬੰਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੈਟਰੋਲਿੰਗ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਕਵਰ ਕਰਨ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਵਟਾਂਦਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
