University School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Rayat Bahra University organized a rally on World Tuberculosis Day with the theme ‘Yes! WE CAN-END TB!’ The rally was organized under the guidance of Dr Anju Goyal, Dean USPS.
Faculty members and students spread awareness about the management of tuberculosis that conveys a message of hope that getting back-on-track to turn the tide against TB is possible through high and fast implementation of new recommendations of the World Health Organization.
Posters were presented by the students on World Tuberculosis Day. Vanshita from B. Pharmacy 2nd Semester won the first prize in Poster Competition. Dr Parvinder Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Rayat Bahra University, appreciated the work being done by the University School of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

ਰਿਆਤ ਬਾਹਰਾ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਸਕੂਲ ਆਫ਼ ਫਾਰਮਾਸਿਊਟੀਕਲ ਸਾਇੰਸਿਜ਼ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਤਪਦਿਕ ਦਿਵਸ ’ਤੇ ‘ਹਾਂ! ਅਸੀਂ ਟੀਬੀ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ!’ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ’ਤੇ ਇਕ ਰੈਲੀ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਰੈਲੀ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਡਾ: ਅੰਜੂ ਗੋਇਲ, ਡੀਨ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਸਕੂਲ ਆਫ਼ ਫਾਰਮਾਸਿਊਟੀਕਲ ਸਾਇੰਸਿਜ਼ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਫੈਕਲਟੀ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਤਪਦਿਕ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਫੈਲਾਈ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਉਮੀਦ ਦਾ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਸਿਹਤ ਸੰਗਠਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਸਿਫ਼ਾਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਕੇ ਟੀਬੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਸੰਭਵ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਤਪਦਿਕ ਦਿਵਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਪੋਸਟਰ ਵੀ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ।
ਬੀ.ਫਾਰਮੇਸੀ ਦੂਜੇ ਸਮੈਸਟਰ ਦੀ ਵੰਸ਼ਿਤਾ ਨੇ ਪੋਸਟਰ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਇਨਾਮ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ। ਰਿਆਤ ਬਾਹਰਾ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਵਾਈਸ-ਚਾਂਸਲਰ ਡਾ: ਪਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਸਕੂਲ ਆਫ਼ ਫਾਰਮਾਸਿਊਟੀਕਲ ਸਾਇੰਸਜ਼ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਜਾਗਰੁਕਤਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ।
