The Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) Kishtwar organized a comprehensive awareness program at Helipad Kishtwar. The event, which witnessed the active participation of over 200 individuals including transport union Presidents and other stakeholders, aimed at promoting responsible road practices.

DTI Traffic Navneet and ARTO Mohammed Saleem Manhas played pivotal role in imparting valuable insights to the participants, emphasizing the importance of adhering to road safety precautions. MVI Azad Hussain,  President All Transport Association Kishtwar Bansi Lal Shan besides staff of MVD Kishtwar also remained present on the occasion.

The program was held as part of the month-long National Road Safety campaign- a national initiative to foster a culture of responsible road behavior. The awareness campaign addressed various aspects of safe driving and highlighted the potential consequences of negligence or deliberate violations of traffic rules.

The District Administration, in collaboration with the Motor Vehicle Department, is committed to creating a safer road environment through continuous awareness and education.
