As part of the road safety month, Motor Vehicles Department (MVD) Bandipora today observed a pledge ceremony at Bus Stand Nusso to promote a sense of responsible driving and ethical conduct of transport business. Hundreds of transporters along with drivers took pledge and resolved for the strict adherence of traffic rules and regulations to prioritize safety of the passengers and commuters.

Selfie points were erected by the MVD to boost public outreach of traffic rules on social media platforms. Overwhelming response from the locals and transporters portrayed a commitment for responsible road behavior. Assistant Regional Transport Officer Bandipora, Bilal Ahmad Mir said that the department is going to organize awareness generative programmes on multi fronts for the maximum safety of the greatest number.
