Actor Mohammad Nazim, renowned for his portrayal of Ahem in 'Saath Nibhaana Saathiya,' is gearing up for a comeback on the silver screen with the Punjabi film 'Munda Rockstar.' Delving into the reasons behind the delay in his return, he explained, "I had plans to venture into films, but the lockdown intervened. Finding a film with a compelling script is crucial, and it took some time for me to come across the right one."

Reflecting on his choice to enter Punjabi cinema instead of Bollywood, Nazim shared, "Having grown up in Punjab, Punjabi is my language, and working in Punjabi films has always been a desire. With the Punjabi film industry gaining significant prominence nationally, it presents a great opportunity for me. Additionally, I believe in supporting all regional cinemas as much as we do for Bollywood."

Providing a glimpse into his character in the upcoming Punjabi film 'Munda Rockstar,' he said, "My role in this film is that of a Punjabi rockstar, embodying the essence of a pop star. To prepare for the role, I let my hair grow and honed my rapping skills by drawing inspiration from artists like Honey Singh and Badshah."

Continuing, Nazim shared his commitment to continuous learning, stating, "I keep up with emerging talents, particularly from reality shows like MTV Hustle, to understand the insights of the new generation of rappers. I even pierced both ears to achieve a rapper-style look."

'Munda Rockstar' is poised for a cinematic release on January 12, promising audiences a glimpse into Mohammad Nazim's transformation into a Punjabi rockstar on the big screen.
