Director Animal Husbandry  Jammu, Dr. Shubhra Sharma today conducted a comprehensive review of the progress and initiatives in the Animal Husbandry sector in Kishtwar district. Accompanied by Dr. Nadeem Ahmed, Extension Officer of the Publicity Wing, Animal Husbandry Department Jammu, the visit to district Kishtwar aimed at assessing the status of various programs and schemes.

The meeting witnessed the presence of Dr. Ajaz Hussain Patagaroo, CAHO Kishtwar, and several officers from the Animal Husbandry department. Discussions centered on extending the reach of beneficiary schemes to a wider populace, highlighting the need for inclusivity and comprehensive coverage across the district.

Dr. Sharma underscored the importance of expanding the benefits of various schemes to benefit a larger segment of the community. Her emphasis on inclusivity and accessibility aligns with the department's goal of reaching every eligible individual and livestock owner in the district, ensuring they have access to the programs designed for their welfare.

During the interactive session, Dr. Sharma attentively listened to the issues and concerns raised by the officers. She assured them of proactive measures and solutions, reinforcing the department's commitment to addressing challenges effectively.
