The Cultural Unit Kashmir of Department of Information & Public Relations (DIPR) today organised a day-long awareness cum cultural programme under the ‘Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan’ at Government Boys Middle School (GBMS) Gund Dalwash, Karhama Baramulla. The main objective of the campaign was to generate awareness among local community and youth regarding ill effects of drug abuse on the health of a drug abuser and society besides to increase community participation in such programmes for wider awareness.

Students of GBMS Dalwash participated in a speech competition on "Say no to drugs" while students and Cultural Unit artists joined by the Artists of Alamdar  theatre,   presented a thematic colorful cultural programmes including Kashmiri traditional rouf, Skit, Naats and songs on the occasion. 

Mementos and certificates were distributed among the performing students, artists and the Headmaster. Headmaster GBMS Gund Dalwash appreciated the Cultural Unit Kashmir DIPR for its efforts against drug menace.
