Government Degree College Ramgarh has started a special series of activities on the theme of ‘Truth and Non-Violence’ to commemorate Gandhi Jayanti 2023 under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.All the activities are being carried out under the guidance and supervision of Principal of the College, Prof. (Dr.) Geetanjali Andotra.
The National Service Scheme unit ‘Prabha’ of the college today tok out a rally around the college premises and in the nearby area to promote the theme.Dr. Aditi Khajuria, Convener IQAC, addressed the participating students of the rally about the importance of ‘Truth’ and ‘Non-Violence’. Dr. Shamsher Lal, Programme Officer said that whenever we think of Mahatma Gandhi, two words come to our mind - truth and non-violence as he was a staunch believer in these two ideals.
A large number of the students participated in the rally. They held placards displaying various quotes and messages given by Mahatma Gandhi.The faculty members of the college also participated in the rally.
