JD Employment Jammu inaugurates Three-Month Skill Development Training Program in Udhampur

Dr. Khalid Hussain Malik, Joint Director of Employment Jammu Division, inaugurated a three-month Skill Development Training Program (Associate Electrician) in collaboration with the Government Industrial Training Institute in Udhampur, today.

In his address to the attendees, Dr. Malik emphasized the critical importance of Skill Development Courses, highlighting how they empower unemployed youth by enhancing their skills. He also stressed that the private sector offers lucrative career opportunities beyond government employment.

Priyanka Gupta, Assistant Director Employment Udhampur, encouraged young participants to wholeheartedly commit to the program, recognizing its potential to significantly improve their job prospects in the current market. The "Associate Electrician" training program aims to provide participants with the essential skills and knowledge required in the rapidly growing Electrical Sector.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Priyanka Gupta, Assistant Director of Employment, who expressed gratitude to all attendees, trainers, and especially Engineer Ravinder Singh Bhatti, Superintendent of ITI Udhampur, for their unwavering support in bringing this Skill Development initiative to fruition.

Additionally, as part of the "MUMKIN" Scheme, two vehicles were handed over to unemployed youth in Udhampur District to support their sustainable livelihoods in the transport sector.
