Government Degree College Neeli Nallah, Udhampur, organized Symposium to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radha Krishnan on 5th Sept. 2023. The program was organized under the guidance of the college Principal, Prof. Hans Raj.

The theme of the event was “Teachers at the heart of Education Recovery”. The event started with lightening of lamp to honor Dr. Sarvepalli Radha Krishnan. A total of seven students participated in the competition and express their views. 

Further, Ms. Shruti Dogra, student of Sem V gave a dance performance. Prof. Hans Raj, Principal of the College, appreciated the students for their love and gratitude towards their teachers. He also enlightened the students and faculty members about the role of teachers and duties of students in today’s scenario.

In the competition Ms. Rabia Shehreen, student of Sem III secured first position, Ms. Avantika, student of Sem V secured second position and Ms. Vishali Sharma, student of Sem III secured third position.

Dr. Radha Rani, NSS PO, coordinated the whole event. Dr. Swati Dutt was the organizer of the event. Others present were Mr. Pardeep Kumar, Dr. Akhter Hussain, Mr. Zahoor Ahmad Mir, Dr. Kumari Mahima Bhagat and Ms. Neha Devi.The whole event was anchored by Ms. Rupali Rajput and Mr. Mukesh Singh, students of Sem V.
