The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and the Chief Minister of Punjab Bhagwant Mann reached Chhattisgarh on Saturday and addressed a townhall meeting, where they unveiled 'Guarantee Card' for the people of Chhattisgarh.
Addressing a large gathering on this occasion, Bhagwant Mann said that Arvind Kejriwal gave a new direction and frame to Indian politics. Before, political parties used to launch Election Manifestos where they made huge promises to the people.
These manifestos are full of lies. But Arvind Kejriwal gives Guarantees, hence this 'Guarantee Card' which has 10 Guarantees of Kehriwal. He added that we have already fulfilled these guarantees in Delhi and Punjab.
In Punjab AAP government was formed just a year and five months back, but we have fulfilled all major election guarantees there. Speaking of guarantees of health and education, Mann said that in Punjab, revolution in both the sectors is in full swing.
We are building schools of eminence in Punjab and opened 660 mohalla clinics where people get free treatment, tests and medicines. The third batch of principals is in Singapore for their training. 2.5 lacs more students enrolled in Government schools this year.
The services of 12,710 teachers were regularised. Taking a dig at BJP Mann said that we do what we say.
We don't tell 'jhumle' Someone else owns a 'jhumla' factory where they manufactured jhumlas like 15 lacs in bank accounts and 2 crore jobs. He said that the AAP government in Punjab gave 31,910 government jobs and lacs of private jobs.
On the guarantee of free and 24 hour electricity, Mann said that in Punjab more than 90% households get zero electricity bills and we fulfilled high electricity demand this summer during paddy sowing without disruption. He said that only a common man knows the value of a zero electricity bill, rich politicians can't understand it because they get thousands of units free every month.
Mann added that like Punjab and Delhi, the AAP government will make Chhattisgarh corruption free. We launched a number in Punjab where common people can complain about any corruption.
We arrested more than 350 politicians and officers who were corrupt. We implemented one MLA one pension scheme in Punjab so that the loot of the public's money can be stopped.
Mann said that it is the time of Aam Aadmi and youth. Other parties only say that youth should participate in active politics but only the Aam Aadmi Party gives opportunities to the common and youth.
We have many young MLAs in Punjab who defeated big political leaders. Mann said that when we give guarantees like free electricity, education and treatment, Sahib (Narendra Modi) says that it is 'Revdi' but we want to know where is the '15 lac wala Papad'. He quipped:

Kale dhan ki baat krta hun to kalam ruk jati hai
Har baat hi jhumla nikli
Ab toh yeh bhi shakk hai
Ki chai bnani aati hai'.
He added that the BJP government sold Bhel, LIC, Rail, Airport and bought MLAs and media. Mann urged the people of Chhattisgarh to vote for the Aam Aadmi Party and elect an honest government in the state.
Because only an honest government can stop corruption from the top level. AAP MP Dr Sandeep Pathak, Chhattisgarh in-charge Sanjay Jha and all the local AAP leadership of Chhattisgarh was present in this townhall meeting.
Addressing the townhall, Arvind Kejriwal said that even after 76 years of independence only the Aam Aadmi Party talks about schools, hospitals, employment and development. We are not politicians. We are here to work to make our nation number one.
He said that the AAP government work and fulfill its guarantees that is why we got huge majorities in Delhi and Punjab. In Delhi we had 67 out of 70 seats and then in next elections we got 63 seats.
In Punjab we won historic 92 seats out of 117. Talking about guarantees he said that Chhattisgarh is an electricity surplus state but the people here don't get electricity.
There are power cuts for 6-8 hours every day. But when the AAP government is elected people will get free and 24 hour electricity.
Government schools will be reformed. Education and health facilities will be free for everyone. Mohalla clinics will be built like Delhi and Punjab, government hospitals will be built.
Everyone in Chhattisgarh will get employment. We gave 2 lac government jobs in Delhi and 12 lac private jobs were provided to the youth.
All women above age 18 will get Rs. 1000 per month. Free teerth yatra facility will be given to the people.
Corruption free Chhattisgarh will be formed and people will get door-step services. 1crore Ex-gratia will be given to the family of martyrs.
About 10th guarantee Kejriwal said that he will share that next time and it will be for the farmers and tribal society of the state.
