Rajesh’s splendid fifty helped Jammu Sports Veterans to secure 57 runs victory over Media-XI in a T-20 cricket match, played at Mandal Ground, here today.Earlier, led by Vikram, Jammu Sports Veterans won the toss and opted to bat first. 

Rajesh (69 runs off 50 balls) and Vikram dogra (22 runs off 19 balls) helped Jammu Sports Veterans post a challenging total (178/7) on the scoreboard in the stipulated 20 overs. Bunty (21 runs) and Harshit (15 runs) were among the other contributors. From the bowling side, Ashu, Dev Thakur and Koushal took 2 wickets each.In reply, Media XI failed to chase the target and bundled out at 121 runs. Media XI suffered early blows as openers PS Bali and Sunil Thapa got out on 1, and 11 respectively. 

Pawan Sharma (24 runs off 29 balls) and Sahil Sharma (16 runs off 11 balls) tried their best to stabilize the Media-XI inning but later succumbed to the up to the mark bowling of Jammu Sports bowlers and only managed to score 121 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs thus lost the match by 57 runs.Later, Rajesh of Jammu Sports Veterans was declared Man of the Match for his outstanding batting performance.
