Padma Shri Padma Sachdev Government College for Women Gandhinagar today bade emotional farewell to Dr. Anjana Gupta, HOD Department of Chemistry on her Superannuation in the College Auditorium.

She has rendered more than five decades in teaching as a diligent worker and contributed as a great teacher in the holistic growth of students in person and institution in general. Her dedication, commitment, and attitude towards work have inspired everyone.

Prof. Mala Bhasin, HOD Botany and Staff Secretary of the college welcomed the guests. Prof. Minu Mahajan , the Principal of the College  congratulated and wished her happy, healthy and contented post-retirement life ahead. The faculty members shared their experiences and happy moments spent together in the institution with the rosary of words and music.

 Towards the end, Dr Anjana Gupta narrated the Odyssey of her service years and cherished the beautiful moments and thanked everyone for their warm and cordial gesture-overwhelmed on seeing the Comprehensive  Presentation jotting down her years of Service by Prof. Malti Rajput.

The Programme concluded with the Presentation of Memento as a Souvenir and token of Respect. The proceedings of the program were conducted by Dr. Revika Arora and coordinated by the team- Dr. Nidhi Suri, Prof. Neelam Thapa, Prof. Sania Hamid, Prof. Suman Bala and Prof. Sugandha Mahajan.
