To mark the celebration of Shiv Khori Shravan Mahotsav, a bhajan competition was organised today - the third Monday of Shravan month.District Development Council member Katra, Nirmal Devi was the chief guest and Assistant Commissioner Development, Anirudh Rai was the Guest of honour.

Speaking on the occasion, the DDC member Nirmal Devi said that the devotional song competition has assumed a great significance as on one hand it provides a major platform to the budding singers and on the other hand offers a major attraction for the Tourists.

A huge audience, comprising civil society members and Government Functionaries relished the soulful bhajans presented by 20 contesting artists hailing from different parts of Jammu and Kashmir.  Eight artists made it to the finals scheduled to be held on August 14, 2023. 

The winner will be awarded with a cash prize.EO Shri Shiv Khori Shrine Board, Pardeep Kumar, DPO, Om Parkash; DIO, Rajinder Digra and Tehsildar Pouni Naresh Kumar were present on the occasion.
