Bharatiya Janata Party Punjab today held a massive rally in Patiala's Grain Market as part of the party's nationwide celebrations on the completion of 9 years of PM Narendra Modi led government. Sounding the election trumpet for upcoming Lok Sabha elections with an impressive rally in Patiala, the BJP gained a lot of positive response from the people of Patiala constituency.
The rally was headed by Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare Mansukh Mandaviya, BJP Punjab President Ashwani Sharma and BJP Punjab Vice President Jai Inder Kaur. Addressing the rally the Union Minister exhorted that, "The mood of People of Patiala has been made very clear by this huge gathering, impressed by the pro people policies of PM Narendra Modi led Central government the people of Patiala are clearly going to vote and support the Bharatiya Janata Party in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections."
Talking about the achievements of Centre government Mansukh Mandaviya said, "Under the leadership of Honourable PM Narendra Modi ji a lot of pro people policies have been implemented across the country. It is PM Narendra Modi ji's government that started Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna to provide direct financial help to our Annadatas.
In the health sector also our government has taken some major initiatives like the Ayushman Yojna that is providing free treatment up to Rs 5 Lakh to all the beneficiaries. Even during the COVID times India was the first nation to vaccinate over 1 Billion people.
Not only that India sent our own COVID vaccine to over 100 countries in their time of need." Talking about the Aam Aadmi Party the health minister said, "I read somewhere that the Punjab government is planning to convene a special Vidhan Sabha session to oppose the Centre Government over the stoppage of funds under the National Health Mission.
They are spreading lies and misinformation, so I want to make this very clear we never play politics over the issue of health unlike the AAM Aadmi Party. The Health and Wellness centres being run in rural areas across the country are run by getting 60% funds from the central government.
Same in Punjab these centres were being run with mostly central funding but the AAM Aadmi party chose to rename them to AAM Aadmi clinics to promote the party which is against the set rules. As the Punjab government wasn't complying with the rules despite repeated warnings, we had to shut down the scheme in Punjab.
Let me make it clear that Modi Ji and his government's only goal is Sewa, whereas your only goal is self promotion." Addressing the rally BJP Punjab Ashwani Sharma said, "The whole country is changing and developing, shouldn't Punjab also grow?
Punjab was known for its bravery, its sportspersons, but sadly these days Punjab is known for drugs. Do you think that the Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab government can take Punjab out of this puddle of Drugs? No, only Narendra Modi led Bharatiya Janata Party can bring Punjab back to its glory days.
Since Bhagwant Mann took over Punjab has been taken over by gangsters and criminals, there is clear lawlessness in the state, even big artists like Sidhu Moosewala were murdered in broad daylight. The only option that people of Punjab have right now is the development centric BJP."
BJP Punjab Vice President Jai Inder Kaur while addressing the rally praised PM Narendra Modi for his historic pro Sikh decisions saying, "No other PM has done more for the Sikh community than Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji. From the opening of the historic Kartarpur Cooridor that fulfilled long standing demand of us Sikhs to giving justice to victims of 84, to the grand Celebrations of 550 the Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji, to marking the Shaheedi of Sahibzades as Veer Bal Diwas, to Celebrating 400th anniversary of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur ji at Red Fort these are some of the sheer examples of Hon’ble PM’s Love/Affection and Respect for Sikhs.

Talking about the AAM Aadmi Party Jai Inder Kaur further said that, "The Punjab government has not been able to bring a single new project for Patiala, but instead every time Bhagwant Mann comes to Patiala it is to inaugurate projects already started by Captain Amarinder Singh ji and he still goes on to say that we haven't done anything for the city.
The AAP government has also betrayed the women of our state by not fulfilling its promise of providing Rs 1000 per month to every woman above the age of 18 and the people of the state will teach them a lesson by voting against them in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections."
