Who does not know about the ongoing protest by the wrestlers at Jantar Mantar of Delhi against WFI president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh over sexual harassment allegations. Many people including the general public and big celebrities are coming in support of them. Recently Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar who was recently in talks for marrying Samajwadi Party leader Fahad Ahmad has shared a post on social media coming forward in support of the wrestlers. Top wrestlers like Sangeeta Phogat, Vinesh Phogat, Sakshi Malik, Bajrang Punia and many others are a part of the protest but no action has been taken till now.

Taking you to Swara’s Post, she added a video of herself in which she talked about the protest, spoke in support of the wrestlers who have been continuously protesting against the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, alleged of sexual harassment. She took to her twitter and shared a video while captioning the post as, “Shameful that our top International athletes are forced to protest on streets against sexual harassment but accused BJP MP is being consistently shielded by the govt. #IStandWithMyChampions Sack & investigate #BrijBhushanSharanSingh”

Swara also spoke about the ruling party who is not taking any action and questioned why they get ready to click pictures with athletes when they win medals for the country but are not supporting when they need them. She also said that she is not supporting them because they are international wrestlers, she is supporting them because if no one is coming in support of them, then what will happen if some common person becomes the victim of such a case.
She also posted one more tweet in which she wrote, “Literally protecting a rape accused.. again! This is our democratically elected govt. Some part of this is on us too folks. #IStandWithMyChampions”
Not only Swara, many other celebrities including Sonu Sood, Pooja Bhatt and many many Olympic medallists including Neeraj Chopra and Abhinav Bindra came in support of the protesting wrestlers.
