Holy Wonders School Kharar celebrated Earth Day with enthusiasm. The aim was to sensitize the students towards their role in addressing global environmental challenges at grass root level. Children participated in creative activities like slogan writing, card making, poster making and poem writing displaying their artistic and linguistic skills while showcasing their awareness about conserving natural resources.
Students and faculty members also took pledge during the occasion. The Students collectively participated in beautiful craft work based on Earth Day. Role plays on how Mother Earth can be saved from global warming were enacted.
Principal of the school Premjit Grover in her address reminded children of their responsibility towards Mother Earth and administered a pledge to protect and save our fast depleting natural resources.
The school Director Ashwin Arora said that we should join our hands together to save our mother Earth from the increasing environmental degradation .The celebration concluded with the belief that the students would respect their natural inheritance and be good caretaker of their planet.
