The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Ganderbal, Mehraj-ud-Din Shah today convened a meeting of all the stakeholders to review the arrangements for ensuing Shab-e-Qadr and Eid-ul-Fitr 2023 at DC Office, here.

The ADC asked the concerned departments to ensure availability of all requisite and essential commodities, especially eatable items, vegetables and milk at approved rates during the ensuing religious festivities.

He directed the officers to intensify the market checking and ensure all commodities including meat, chicken bakery and sweets are sold at already Government fixed rates, besides ensure availability of all essential supplies in the market to avoid hoardings and profiteering.

He directed the officers of all departments to work in a synergized manner to avoid inconvenience to the people.Municipal Council Ganderbal was asked to maintain cleanliness in the Municipal area on a daily basis and with special focus on religious places.

ARTO Ganderbal was asked to ensure sufficient traffic is available on main routes of the districts.The ADC directed the FCS&CA to ensure availability of sufficient ration and LPG stock in the district.The meeting was attended by SDM Kangan, Executive Engineers of PDD, Jal Shakti, Tehsildars, DySP HQ, ARTO and other officials.
