The District Development Council Chairperson, Adv Chowdhary Naseem Liyaqat, recently chaired a mega Kisan Mela organised under SMAE-ATMA (Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav) in the district to provide farmers with an opportunity to interact with different government departments and avail themselves of their services.

The event featured a range of stalls showcasing different vegetables and agricultural products, along with pamphlets depicting various schemes. The lectures on the implementation of various schemes were well-received by the farmers, who found them informative and useful.
