Deputy Commissioner Avny Lavasa today reviewed the progress of works under BADP, SBM and District Capex Budget 2022-23, including DDC, BDC and Panchayat area components.

The Deputy Commissioner took a detailed department wise review of the works. The meeting was informed that a total 2916 works have been taken up under DDC, BDC and PRI components of which 2297 have been completed.

Regarding progress of works under SBM, the concerned official apprised the Chair that 213 Community Sanitary Complexes (CSC) have been approved out of which 200 works have been tendered and 196 allotted.

Similarly, for Solid Waste Management and Liquid Waste Management, 189 works in each category have been approved, while 152 works have been allotted under SWM and 61 under LWM.

Speaking at the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner instructed the officers to expedite the pace of approved works under BADP to utilize cent percent funds. 

The Deputy Commissioner asked the officers to focus on execution followed by completion of allotted works without any delay. CPO Yoginder Katoch; ACD Preeti Sharma; BDOs besides senior officers were present in the meeting.
