Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Rahul Pandey on Monday chaired a meeting to review the action taken by the concerned departments to address the issues discussed during the Divisional Administration Meeting chaired by  Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir.

The meeting was attended by officers from various departments including Police, Health, Agriculture, Revenue, Social Welfare, PWD, RDD, Education and others.

The DC emphasized the need to take concrete steps to resolve the issues discussed during the Divisional Administration Meeting and to ensure that the common people of the district receive the benefits.

In the meeting, the officers discussed the initiatives taken by the district administration to implement the decisions. They also discussed the progress made under various Centrally Sponsored schemes and the steps taken to ensure that the schemes are effectively implemented across the District.

The DC enjoined upon the officers to constantly monitor the progress made and urged the officers to continue their efforts in ensuring the successful implementation of the various government schemes. 

He also called for regular review meetings to ensure that all the highlighted issues are addressed within the stipulated timelines. He further called for regular submission of updated action taken reports to the DC office for onward submission to higher authorities. 

The DC also expressed his commitment to ensure that the district administration works diligently towards fulfilling the objectives of the Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor and aspirations of the common people of the district.
