The Building collapsed after a few hours of the earthquake that occurred in Lucknow. As per the reports, water was leaking and construction was going on in the building. The drilled machine was being used during the work of the pipelines which is feared to be the reason that the foundation grid of the building was damaged but no actual reasons have been given and the investigation is still going on.
Talking about the rescue of the trapped people, 16 people were rescued safely during the overnight rescue operation while there were two casualties. The two women who died in the building collapse were SP Leader Abbas Haider’s mother and wife. He also said that the administration is responsible for all this. They are playing pranks on the name, ministers and top officials are taking photos on the spot.
DGP DS Chauhan, the operation supervisor at the site said, “ more than 20 people were inside when the building collapsed and 14 of them had been rescued. We have managed to contact one of them and a mobile phone has been passed on to him for communication. Personnel from NDRF and SDRF are trying to breach through the debris passages that had been made from three different points. The strategy is to make a hole and then through it the team will contact those trapped” he concluded.
