Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK) Anantnag today organized a function at Govt. Degree College for Women Anantnag to commemorate National Youth Day celebrated every year on 12th January.
The day was observed to commemorate 159 birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda and more than 500 people participated in the programme. The speakers spoke on the life history of Swami Vivekananda and its effect on youth.
Nisar Ahmad, DDC member was the chief guest while Principal Govt. Degree College for Women Anantnag, Hamid was the guest of honour. The chief guest appreciated organizing seminars/programmes and thanked NYK Anantnag for organizing such programmes.
After the end of the programme, M. K. Mir, Deputy Director Nehru Yuva Kendra Anantnag thanked all participants and other officers who were present in the programme.
