The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Handwara, Nazir Ahmad Mir today reviewed the ongoing snow clearance operation in the Handwara sub division during a meeting of concerned officers.
It was informed in the meeting that major roads of the sub division have already been cleared and clearance of inner links is in progress. XEN PHE, XEN R&B, XEN Irrigation, XEN PMGSY, XEN PDD, Medical Superintendent, Tehsildar Handwara and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
The ADC directed the concerned officers to personally monitor the snow clearance operations.The ADC directed all subdivision and tehsil level officers not to leave the station without proper permission from concerned higher authority.
The ADC also inspected District Hospital Handwara, Sub District Hospital Langate and PHC Chogal and took stock of availability of the staff and facilities for patients in these health facilities.
