In view of Good Governance week, Conservator of Forests (CoF), Srinagar Circle Zubair Ahmad Shah today visited Bandipora Forest Division. During the visit, the CoF inaugurated Green Grove Memorial  in memory of  Ex. DFO Bandipora, Late Shabir Ahmad Bhat at Chitternar Campus.

 On the occasion, a plantation drive was also carried out at Chitternar campus of Bandipora Forest Division. Later, the CoF and other forest officers and BDC Aloosa visited Aloosa to inaugurate a trekking route from Ketson to Nachini to develol eco-tourism in the area. 

The department also distributed LPG Appliances and plants among the forest dependent community under Green India Mission. The team of officers also inspected various forest related developmental works being undertaken in the division.

The CoF was accompanied by DFO Bandipora, Mudasir Mehmood and other officials.
