DIET Kishtwar organised a two day School Leadership Development Programme to facilitate the implementation of New Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The Programme was attended by 54 Heads of Institutions (HOIs) of UPS/MS of zone Kishtwar and Nagseni.

DIET Principal, Ashok Kumar, in his address, laid emphasis on the importance of transforming schools as per the guidelines of New Education POLICY. The Educational Leadership Programme was facilitated by HOD DIET, Pramilla Devi Sharma. 

She apprised the HOIs about the value of leadership. The resource persons including Sr. Lecturer DIET, Riaz Ahmed Butt, Mtr Rashida Shaheen DRP, Shawana DRP and Dr Shivani delivered detailed lectures on School Leadership, Children Safety in schools, Empathy in School Leadership and NEP-2020. 

Course Coordinator, Nasir Ahmed also interacted with trainees during the two day workshop. The deliberations were held on introduction of SLDP programme and Role of Educational leaders in Implementation of New Education Policy 2020 with a motto ‘ Every Child Learns and Every School Excels’.
