Additional District Development Commissioner Udhampur today reviewed the status and progress achieved in respect of the District Capex Works and expenditure incurred till date here at a meeting held on the directions of Deputy Commissioner,  Krittika Jyotsna.

The meeting was attended by  Nodal Officers i.e. Programme Officer, ICDS Projects, Assistant Commissioner Development, General Manager DIC, Assistant Director FCS &CA along with  District Treasury Officer, Executive Engineer REW Udhampur, representative of Chief Planning Officer Udhampur and all the Block Development Officers of District Udhampur.

At the outset, Assistant Commissioner Development, Ranjeet Kotwal briefed the house about implementation of District Capex and other Schemes being executed by the Rural Development Department in the District.

Threadbare discussions were held on various aspects and bottlenecks being faced by the Block Development Officers with regard to implementation of developmental works viz-a-viz District Capex, UT Capex (CD & Panchayat) and other Centrally Sponsored Schemes including construction of Amrit Sarovar, Soak Pits/ Composed Pits, NGT Ponds/ Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen) etc were  discussed in detail.

The ADDC directed  the  BDOs to ensure 100% door-to-door waste collection  and fast track execution of works and utilization of 100% available funds by the third week of December, 2022. District Treasury Officer was asked to issue instructions to the Sub-Treasuries not to delay the Bills for drawl without any solid reason.
