NSS Units and Anti Ragging Cell of Government College for Women, Udhampur today organised an awareness lecture on the Topic “Know your Rights and Duties” with a major emphasis on Anti Ragging Laws.

The event was held under the patronage and guidance of the College Principal, Dr. Monika Sharma. The lecture was delivered by Advocate  Sanjeet Kumar Bavouria, Panel Lawyer, DLSA (Distt. Legal Services  Authority) Udhampur.

In his address, he highlighted the Articles of the Constitution regarding rights and duties. The awareness lecture was organised on the eve of the celebration of Constitution Day/ week. The program started with the formal welcome address by Prof. Sumita Rao, NSS PO. She welcomed the resource person and the audience.

Proceedings of the program were conducted by Prof. Tania Akhtar, Convener Anti-ragging Cell. Formal vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Mushtaq Ahmed, Co-Convener of Anti ragging Cell. Dr. Kewal Kumar, Dr.Meena Gupta ,Dr. Shaveta  Sharma, Prof. Roopa Kumari, Prof. Shallu Jasrotia, Prof. Tania Mahajan also graced the occasion with their presence.
