The District Programme  Officer Bandipora/Kupwara, Mohammad Ashraf Hakak today took a Joint review of functioning of Poshan projects of the twin districts. The meeting discussed threadbare the progress made on procurement of Supplementary nutrition, medicine kits, Aadhar enrollment and seeding, functioning of Anganwadi centres, inter project inspections and service related matters.

The meeting also discussed the activities to be carried out during Jan Abhiyan under My Town My Pride-2.The discussion was also held on provision of healthy, quality and standard nutrition to the beneficiaries through Anganwadi centres.

The provision of financial assistance through PMVVY to pregnant ladies was also deliberated upon. Hakak stressed upon CDPOs for playing pro-active role for provision of welfare services to the deserving. The meeting was attended by CDPOs of two districts, field functionaries and staff of DPO offices.
