The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Bandipora, Waseem Raja today chaired a meeting to review the preparations for forthcoming Armed Forces Flag Day celebrations. Highlighting the importance of the day, the ADC said that Armed Forces Flag Day provides the citizens an opportunity to show their gratitude to the Armed Forces.
He asked officers to ensure contribution towards Armed Forces Flag Day Fund adding that, this contribution towards the fund is acknowledgement of the services rendered by the armed forces towards the nation.
Waseem Raja also directed the officers to ensure participation on 07th December in Armed Forces Flag Day celebrations. The meeting was attended by Tehsildar Bandipora Sheikh Tariq, DySP Bandipora Ashfaq Alam, officers from various departments, president traders’ federation and other concerned.
