NSS Unit ‘Sewak’, Government Degree College Neeli Nallah Udhampur organised a series of activities from 19th of November to 25th of November under the aegis of Communal Harmony and National Integration Week Celebrations.

The week-long activities were carried out under able guidance of the Principal of the College, Prof. Hans Raj. During the week-long celebrations, various activities were organised on the theme ‘Communal Harmony: Need of the Hour’ such as Essay writing competition, Symposium, Poster Making & Slogan Writing Competition, Cleanliness of the Campus and Rangoli Making Competition.

The weeklong celebration ended with an awareness rally on Communal Harmony and National Integration which was flagged off by the Principal of the College. During the rally, students were carrying Placards depicting the message of national unity; brotherhood and Communal harmony and students were also raising these slogans. 

During the valedictory function, the Principal of the College appreciated the efforts of  NSS PO and Organising Committee members for holding such a Mega event and also congratulated the students for their participation in the event with zeal and enthusiasm.

Dr. Radha Rani, NSS PO, coordinated the whole event. Prof. Swati Dutt, Prof. Shaista Yasmeen and Manisha Kanchru were the members of the organising committee. Dr. Renu Gupta, Imttiyaz Bhatti, Dr. Ranjeeta Langey, Parul Chibber and Shallu Jamoria also participated in the celebration.
